Since 1990 the Dresden Residence Castle has been continuously reconstructed. The Historic Green Vault returned to its original location at the western wing at the castle, the former church of the castle with its famous arch was rebuild and it is possible to use it for events. The Turkish Chamber, the large hall and the ruler gallery were also restored. An additional place of interest is the exhibition “Power and Fashion” at the renaissance wing of the castle. You will visit with your tour guide the valuable collection of the New Green Vault, you will see the Golden Coffee Set of August the Strong, the Royal Household of the Grand Mogul, the Saxon “Crown Jewels” and precious other golden, silver, ivory and crystal glass exhibits.
After the guided tour you will be able to visit all other museums at the castle individually.
Meeting point and start of the guided tour will be the conference service desk at the BÖRSE DRESDEN. The transport to the historic city center will be by tram and you will be accompanied by a tour guide.
